About Me
I'm Daniela, a color consultant and interior designer based in the Hudson Valley, New York.
My practice spans residential interiors, hospitality spaces, and commercial businesses across the Northeast and beyond. Before launching this practice, I spent years at the intersection of media, marketing, and creative direction, immersed in design from the inside out. That background shaped everything: I know how to read a person, find the through line, and translate a feeling into something real, specific, and alive. Color is my medium, but storytelling is the method. I also write about both through Statement Wall, my newsletter on color, interiors, and committing to the bold thing.
My Approach
Before we talk about paint colors or furniture, I want to know what makes you light up. What color have you always admired but never had the courage to use? Is there a memory tied to a particular shade? If your room had a playlist, what would it sound like?
Those questions might seem far from interior design, but they're exactly where your color story lives. Design is sensory. It's all connected. The more I understand how you want a space to feel, the better I can get you somewhere that's genuinely transportive rather than just pretty. We'll work within your constraints, but first, we dream a little!
